ABOUT ME
My name is Anthon and I am the guy behind Budget Away Days. I am originally from southern Sweden (close to where Zlatan is from if you know that guy) but I am now residing in Estonia together with my family.
Football has been my biggest passion since I was a kid and travelling has always been a major part of my life, and I love to combine the two. Manchester United is the team for me, but I doubt you will be seeing much about them on this blog, where I will focus on my football travels on a budget.
ABOUT THE BLOG
Travelling on a budget is a vague term. Who decides what a budget trip is? And what the budget should be? In my eyes, that is up for each and every person to decide for themselves.
For me, a budget trip isn’t necessarily just trying to find the cheapest possible flights and the cheapest bed to sleep in. While I always try to find the best and the most budget-friendly solution, I will have to do so within or around my comfort zone and with my personal life in mind.
At the end of the day, we all won’t have the same budgets and starting points for our travels.
